Chamaecyparis nootkatensis (Alaska Cypresses)
What to call it? The common names Nootka cypress, Alaska-cedar or yellow cypress. The botanical genus names Cupressus, Chamaecyparis, Xanthocyparis and Callitropsis. For now we will continue with what the trade commonly calls it Chamaecyparis nootkatensis (Alaska Cedar).
